El participio pasado irregular
As in the case of the group of regular past participles, the group of irregular past participles also includes
regular verbs, irregular verbs and stem changing verbs. This might sound very confusing. But the best way to learn
Spanish past participles would be to learn by heart the list of irregular past participles and, then, proceed by
elimination because what is not irregular, it has to be regular.Within the group of irregular past participles, there is a small group of verbs which end in -er and
-ir and whose stem ends in a strong vowel (e, a, o). This small group forms its past participle in a regular way,
except that the i of the ído ending carries the written accent.
Give the correct form of past participle for each of the following verbs. Start each entry with a small letter.
